Roman Forum (1973)

The Forum was ancient Rome’s center of commerce and government. This view looks southeast down the Via Sacra, the main street of the Forum, toward the Arch of Titus. The colonnaded building on the left is the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, built in 141 CE (and later appropriated as a church).
