Gingerbread Mansion (2008)
The Gingerbread Mansion is the largest residence in Ferndale, California. Originally built for Dr. Hogan J. Ring in 1895 as his home and office, it briefly served as Ferndale’s general hospital in the 1920s. After that, a series of owners used it as a rest home, a private home, and apartments. It is now one of the town’s swanky Victorian bed-and-breakfast inns.
